MEET OUR FOUNDER
Donna Sloane has over 30+ years of experience in nursing and a deep passion for patient empowerment. Donna is the visionary behind Compass Healthcare Navigators. She obtained her Masters degree and is a board certified Family Nurse Practitoner (FNP-C).
Her journey began at the bedside with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and worked in Critical Care, Surgical, procedural and outpatient centers. Driven by a commitment to advocacy, education, and compassionate support, she launched Compass Healthcare Navigators to provide the guidance and voice patients often need in their healthcare journey.
Today, Donna continues to advocate fiercely for patient rights, health equity, and system-wide change, empowering individuals with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about their health.

General navigation, appointments, calls, records, etc. As well as creating and managing treatment/care plan.

Medical Records Review and Summary
In person Appointment Support
Accompanying clients to medical appointments or procedures.
Travel Fees- for in-person services outside local area ($0.50-$1.00/mile or flat fee is negotiable)
$150/hr plus travel
End of Life/Long Term Chronic Illness and Rare Disease Navigation
Researching specialists and arranging appointments/consultations
$125/hr
Monthly Retainer Plan
Ongoing Support and Coordination
e.g., 5-10 hours/month
$500-$1,000/month
Reviewing current records and educating/summarizing for clients better understanding
$150/hr
Support with hospice, palliative care, or facility planning. Specialized support and coordination for chronic illnesses and diseases.
$100-175/hr
Emergency Advocacy Support
After hours urgent or emergent visits or consults (varies by urgency).
